WE CAN MAKE
A DIFFERENCE

We want to help you discover and develop your redemptive purpose and live the full life God wants for you. Living the way Jesus lived is what impacts our community.  Our hope is that every member of our community of faith is serving others inside and outside the church.

Our Food Pantry is an important way in which we help meet the needs of those who are seeking help. Just as Jesus fed the hungry, we strive to meet people's physical needs and hopefully open a door to share about the good news.

Outreach is all about meeting people where they are. Our local elementary schools are great places to show the love of Jesus. We do this by getting involved in the lives of students and meeting basic needs. Clothing drives, literacy events, and a food pantry are just a few ways that we get involved and meet needs at Canton City Schools.

For distribution in times of crisis, we assemble kits of personal hygiene supplies that are sent worldwide.

Crisis Care Kits are a cooperative effort between Nazarene Compassionate Ministries Incorporated (NCMI) and Nazarene Missions International (NMI). Each local church is challenged to donate enough kits to fill at least one banana box (six kits per banana box).

We’ve partnered with Hope House 4 Women whose goal is to reach women living on the margins of society by showing them God’s love and providing temporary sober housing, clothing and support. In addition to providing financial assistance to this ministry, we help with maintenance projects and lawn care.

As part of our mission to be a support system for Canton area youth, the next generation, we sponsor a boy's team in the J. Babe Stearn Center Tri-County Community Basketball League. Our intent is to permit our team to experience playing in a travel league atmosphere while promoting a winning philosophy not only on the court but in every aspect of their lives.

Global outreach is important. Every year, we send a group from our church to another country to work to further the kingdom of God. To accomplish the Great Commission – spreading the gospel and the message of holiness around the world – the Church of the Nazarene established the World Evangelism Fund. This cooperative fund is used to support missionaries and their efforts around the world.
